Event in October 2009


Foreign Affairs Ministers and delegates from Cambodia, Japan, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar came together for the Mekong-Japan Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held at Angkor Palace Resort & Spa from 2-3 October 2009.

Chaired by H.E. Mr. HOR Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the meeting covered the development plans of the Mekong region and a range of issues such as global warming, North Korea nuclear weapon and A(H1N1).

The session was opened by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia
